Philippine Children’s Medical Center Externship offers post-graduate 2017 Externship and Fellowship training programs in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.


Applicants must be citizens of the Philippines, not more than 35 years old at the time of application, and licensed to practice dentistry in the Philippines.
Externships include one month of orientation and 6 months of training. Externs will receive training in dental management of pediatric patients, including those with special health care needs.


Candidates for 2017 externships may apply by sending a completed application form, cover letter, copy of diploma, transcript of academic records, and 3 letters of recommendation. In addition, applicants will be asked to complete a 100-150 word essay explaining why they are seeking admission to the training program.


The Pediatric Dentistry Division (PDD) of Philippine Children’s Medical Center is the only government specialty institution to offer dental management to pediatric patients and specialty procedures such as naso-alveolar molding (NAM) prior to cleft palate reconstruction. They are located in Quezon City, Philippines.
